SHARLEEN  MARIE  C.  PALOMAR
Assistant Manager, Project Planning

Sharleen started her career at the front-line of small and medium-sized companies where she developed her people skills. She later joined the BPO industry where her skills in foreign-client management were honed. She was exposed to worldwide travel consulting, further improving her proficiency in handling more complex individual and organizational transactions. Opportunity for more refinement came as she was hired as an Administrative Assistant in a private bank. This paved the way to boost her confidence to handle an Administrative Officer position of a World Bank- Funded Project for the Western Visayas Region in the Philippines. Now she has the strong resolve to strengthen symbiotic partnerships with local farmers, fisher-folks and micro-enterprises. “My participation is anchored on shared values with Sulu Garden Foundation, especially in the matter of community involvement.”

ANTHONY L. EBORDE

Anthony L. Eborde is a corporal in the 61st Infantry Battalion at Camp Monteclaro in Miag-ao, Iloilo Province. He is the eldest in a farming family from the town of Dao, in the province of Capiz. While in his third year in college, Anthony decided to join the army to serve our country and to help his siblings finish their studies. Now, there are two of them in the army and the other two became police officers. Corporal Eborde was drawn to drawing at an early age but just learned painting in colours more recently as a volunteer in Project Mactan. He said that this project is a big help for him because he can take his mind off work for a while and can relax through painting miniatures when the army can release him for a few hours each week from his military assignments. He is now married and has 2 kids with him in Camp Monteclaro.
